All rentals include a clean, fully fueled golf cart, free delivery and pickup on Galveston Island, and simple instructions for safe operation. Helmets are not required.
Yes. All drivers must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Renters under 25 will have an additional $250 refundable deposit held after checkout.
We recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially during weekends or holiday periods. Same-day rentals may be available depending on cart availability.

Cancellations made 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 48 hours of delivery window will result in one full day of rental being charged

Yes. A valid driver’s license is required at the time of delivery. Please have it ready so we can verify your reservation and complete the rental process.
You don't! We deliver to you. We service zip codes on the island including 77550, 77551, and 77554, excluding Tiki Island and Pelican Island.
You betcha! 4-passenger Karts are $170 for the first day and $120 for each additional day. 6-passenger Karts are $195 for the first day and $145 for each additional day. The more you book, the more you save!
We aim to deliver at or before your delivery time but hey, things happen! Sometimes there is traffic, weather, other deliveries/pick ups. Our driver will always contact you if there is any delay. For special timing requests that are not available in the checkout form, you can include them in the notes at checkout or contact us at info@markskartsgalveston.com or 409-402-5278 and we will do our best to accommodate.
Our default rental end time is 11am to align with most hotel and short term rental check out times. If you would like a different check out time, please notate that in the check out form comments or call us at 409-402-KART (5278) and we will do our best to accommodate.
You are responsible for all damages and fines. Please notify us immediately at info@markskartsgalveston.com or call 409-402-5278. Mark’s Karts LLC is not liable for any injuries or damages during your rental. Any fines received by us due to misuse will be passed on to you, along with applicable administrative fees.
Well-behaved pets are welcome and encouraged—tag us on social media! Just make sure your furry friends stay seated during the ride and don’t cause damage to the cart.
You might get wet! Please use caution in inclement weather. We do not issue refunds due to rain unless a mandatory evacuation is declared.
